Close Up Tech Magician London

David Penn brings modern close-up magic to corporate events, awards evenings, conferences and weddings throughout London. Rather than relying on traditional card tricks, David creates interactive magic using the one piece of technology every guest already has with them — their mobile phone.

The magic happens naturally among your guests during a drinks reception, dinner or networking event. Phones come out, people gather around and guests who may not know each other suddenly have something to talk about. It is a particularly effective way to lift the atmosphere without interrupting the flow of the event.

David is a British Magic Champion and a member of The Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star. He has made more than 100 television appearances and was the first magician to receive two standing ovations on Britain’s Got Talent.

Corporate Magician for London Events

For corporate event organisers, agencies and PAs, David offers polished entertainment that feels current and appropriate for a professional audience. His close-up Tech Magic works particularly well at drinks receptions, awards dinners, conferences, product launches and client events.

David performs with guests’ own mobile phones, creating personal moments that feel impossible. The reactions quickly draw other people into the experience, helping guests relax, start conversations and remember the event for the right reasons.

Every performance is adapted to the venue, audience and schedule. David can work discreetly during a reception, entertain tables between courses or create memorable moments around important guests and clients.

Weddings and Private Events in London

At weddings and private celebrations, David moves naturally between groups and performs for guests where they are already gathered. This helps bring different generations together, fills quieter moments in the day and gives everyone a shared experience to talk about.

The style is friendly, sophisticated and never intrusive. It works especially well during the drinks reception, wedding breakfast or the early part of the evening celebration.
