In the magic world, David is recognised as an innovator and creator of a number of effects and presentations that have been used by other well-known TV magicians worldwide, including Criss Angel, Mind2Mind, Maddox, Sean Heydon and Dynamo. David has been engaged as a consultant for high-end product launches for CISCO, PANASONIC, SONY, and Procter & Gamble.
David has lectured all over the world, including at the world's largest magic convention in Blackpool UK, which attracts five thousand registrants, and at 'Magic Live' in Las Vegas where he shared the stage with Lance Burton and David Copperfield. The way David creates presentations and effects that resonate with an audience can also be applied to business and is the subject of his entertaining and inspirational conference keynote:- 'The Man Behind the Magic'.

Performing for The Queen
David Penn was booked to perform his unique style of close up magic at a private party in Buckingham Palace hosted by Her Majesty the Queen and attended by the Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Anne. David amazed Her Majesty's guests with his magic and metal bending skills and was truly honoured to meet The Queen personally.
Multi International Award Winner
David's first major competition was when he won the prestigious Magic Circle's Close-Up Magician of the Year" award. Over the next decade, he continued his competition success by winning the title of 'British Magic Champion', The International Brotherhood of Magicians 'Close-Up Magician of the Year', 'The British Champion of Illusion', and the Magic Circle Cecil Lyle Award. David was also presented with the coveted 'Best of British Magic' award in recognition of his unrivalled level of performance.
Television Credits
David's unique style of magic has been featured on ITV1, Channel 4, ITV2, BBC1, BBC2, and SKY ONE. in ITV1's show 'Astounding Celebrities', he was invited to perform for some of the UK's leading television and film stars. On 'FREAKY' on Channel 4 David's magic shocked and freaked out unsuspecting members of the public.
David Penn was the first magician in history to receive any level of success on the show 'Britain's Got Talent' and achieved two standing ovations for his perfomances.
Cabaret for 'TIME' magazine
David was flown out to Istanbul, Turkey to entertain the international editor of 'TIME' magazine and his guests. During the cabaret show, David correctly predicted a single word from the current issue of 'TIME'. Amazingly this was the exact word that the editor was simply thinking of!
