	TV appearances for 2009 David has spent the summer filming two new series of ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ for BBC1 and will appear in each episode as the show’s resident magician. He is also the expert illusionist in one episode and performs his ‘Clear Sawing in Half’ illusion on TV for the first time ever. The new shows are due to air from January 2009.
	What a night! David Penn entertained dozens of the UK’s most talented songwriters and producers at a truly memorable event at the Tate Modern gallery in London. The Society of Distinguished Songwriters includes members such as Gary Barlow, Don Black, Gary Kemp, Sir Tim Rice, Guy Chambers, Marty Wilde and King SOD David Arnold (photo). His bespoke act, blending magic with music, created a dynamic opening to a unique show in which each artist sang their most famous songs.
	Cabaret performance for 'TIME' magazine David was flown out to Istanbul, Turkey to entertain the international editor of ‘TIME’ magazine and his guests. During the cabaret show David correctly predicted a single word from the current issue of ‘TIME’. Amazingly this was the exact word that the editor was simply thinking of!
	Little Howard's Big Question David has filmed a special guest appearance for the new BBC series ‘Little Howard’s Big Question’. This offbeat science program features Perrier Award nominee Howard Read and his 6-year old animated sidekick, Little Howard and aims to answer such universal questions as "Why can't I fly?" and “Can I believe my eyes?”
	New Lecture DVD for Magicians David is acknowledged as a creator of magical effects worldwide. Whilst performing his illusion show in China for HSBC Private Bank he took some time out to film material for his new Lecture DVD that is available exclusively to professional magicians. David has also been invited by Derek Lever to lecture at the world’s largest magic convention in 2009 and pass on his unique techniques to other magicians.

David's Illusion Show reaches new heights!

Since winning the title of 'British Champion Of Illusion', David has continued to do the impossible at large scale corporate events.
Recently at the Grosvenor House in London, David made a genuine R22 Helicopter materialise on stage to the amazement of the delegates present.

Press Day at the British Motor Show

David Penn launched the new Hyundai 7 seater Santa Fe to the world’s press and media at London ExCel. After the appearance of the Santa Fe, David made 2 groups of seven girls appear in the previously empty car whilst members of the press surrounded it and held onto all the doors. This production highlighted the fact that the Santa Fe now has a 7 seater model as well as the original, best selling 5 seater.

The World Premier of 'Harry Potter 3'

David Penn entertained at the Number 1 showbiz party of the year to celebrate the World Premier of the new Harry Potter film. David amazed celebrities and the cast of the film with his illusions and Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter, revealed to David that he is a fan of FREAKY!

The Asia Tour

David has just returned from touring in Asia. David was booked by HSBC Private Bank to perform large scale Illusion shows in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei and Manila.

UK Premiere of 'The World's Fastest Indian'

David Penn performed recently at the UK premiere of 'The World's Fastest Indian' starring Sir Anthony Hopkins. After the show David performed backstage for X Factor's Journey South. The picture to the left captures the moment when one of the duo realised that somehow David was now wearing his watch!


 

G Wiz!

David Penn entertained over 1,000 VIPs and celebrities at 'The Red Carpet Bash' at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. David performed some of his amazing illusions and shared the stage with G4 (left) and Alexander O' Neal.
